For those of you that don't know Courtney is a local dressage rider and trainer that was a member of the 2008 Olympic team. She had a tragic accident a few years ago from a fall from a horse, but is working on making a recovery. She is not only someone that I highly respect due to riding achievements but also her drive and determination to be the best and constantly improve, nothing ever seems to slow her down and it really is inspiring. She's always been "my fav" so I am SUPER excited to have her here. To learn more about her, riders4helmets, or make a donation to the cause, visit her website http://www.ckddressage.com/
We thought this was going to be our first big thing of the year BUT we have a few more things going on. Cedar Crest is hosting a small schooling show March 30, that I will be taking some horses and students to, and there is also a Peter Wylde clinic at Winley the Friday and Saturday prior to our Sunday clinic. We will have a weekend FULL of learning with a couple of our students attending that clinic as well. The following weekend will be the Town Hill Combined Test and that will start our busy show season.
