Sunday we will have a full trailer load heading to Cedar Crest - I'll be taking Journey (a clients horse), it will be his first horse show, and a customers horse from Town Hill...rather, pony... A very hot little pony that needs some schooling time :) . Splash will be tagging along, and it will be her first official outing as well. The twist with Splash is that we have a customer coming with us to show her, and possibly buy her from there. Splash is going REALLY well, she has really benefitted from her short time in the little indoor and is becoming much more ridable and balanced (as if she wasn't already?) She's so easy to jump around, she's quite fun and I'm almost a little jealous that I won't be the one showing her...BUT at least she gets to show with us, so that's all good!
Our boarder Jo will be taking her horse Papaya with us as well to school around and possibly show. Papaya is a such a sweetie, a bit quirky at times but thats what makes her fit right in to our barn. She's done the hunters mostly, so this will be a cute little outing for her to get back into the swing of things.
In addition to the show, we've got customers lined up all week to see most of the horses available at this time.. It's turning into a busy time of year!!!
On a sortof related yet unrelated note, we sent Mojo to a friend of mine's barn for the week to tag team him into a program. We've been fiddling around, but he's to a point where we need to get serious and on with the program! My schedule at the moment can't really accommodate that with all that is going on SO I enlisted a little help. I was able to watch him school yesterday, and hoping to get over tomorrow or Friday to hop on myself...perhaps a free jump session before I take him home is in order??? We shall see and I will keep everyone updated. Still working on the video from yesterday BUT I do have some fab photos of our boy!!!
