At Thunder Crest, we specialize in breaking horses and retraining off-the-track Thoroughbreds. We also cater to layups and retirees. Learning, while having fun in a safe, friendly, and relaxing atmosphere, is our top priority.

Our mission is to provide a proper start for all off-the-track Thoroughbreds. We give each individual horse the time and program they need to best succeed in their second careers, including proper let down time off of the track, a specialized nutrition program, and a slow, correct start to the basics. Unlike some, we are not driven by the dollar signs, but instead, driven by being able to provide our horses with the most suitable home. Our customers can take comfort in knowing that none of our OTTBs are being pushed too hard, too soon off the track, and are accurately represented to the best of our ability.
