Interested in becoming a working student?
Thunder Crest offers a year-round working student position to qualified individuals. This is a great way to get an idea of the business, get ride time on some nice, young horses and network contacts for the future. Anyone interested in a working student position must be willing to learn, motivated, and confident (at the very least, willing to) riding new and/or green horses.
Our working student program is flexible in order to work with the demands of "real life". Students will be required to work a full day of barn chores, including miscellaneous barn work, grooming, tacking, cleaning, etc. in order to qualify for lessons and ride time. Reduced boarding rates are available to working students wishing to bring their horse on site.
