Starting tomorrow we have a boatload of lessons and clients coming in to see various horses, we are keeping our fingers crossed that something suits someones fancy and one of our lucky horses finds a good home. Today is a bit of "the calm before the storm" - I have only taken out the sale horses today for work and my own personal horses are sitting on the back burner for the next three or four days, enjoying the "lull" of my own pace before we kick it into high gear for the weekend. A friend from school is coming up to help me get everything in order for the weekend and I could not be MORE excited. Educated hands on the job, there is nothing better!!
Sunday we have a horse show, Ozzy will be making his "mini-stirrup debut" with Abigale my lovely walk-trotter. We also decided to stick Bam in a small jumper show as well and have Danielle show him while she is here. I am not sure when post entries end for Kent, it's still a possibility for the mean time but I am not 100% sure what I can pull off entirely on my own.
Those of you that follow us on facebook have seen some rumored new horses...check back for the info on that front...
As some of you may already know, our client Amy has recently acquired a new horse Journey. She unfortunately had to go through neck surgery recently and thus has placed her horse into our training program. I am getting him going a bit and he will be my new working student (there is one new arrival ;) spoiler alert!) mount and hopefully will get to horse show him a little throughout the year. Today he started doing some jumping and we couldn't be more pleased. He is very easy going and an overall enjoyable mount...hopefully we will get some non shaky video posted soon!!
